The 21K is considered a challenging yet achievable distance for many runners. Training for a half marathon requires a good training plan, consistency, and commitment, but many find it a rewarding stepping stone to longer distances or an end goal in itself.

The Runfest Summit is a professional half-day forum gathering experts, athletes, innovators, and enthusiasts to discuss physical and mental health in sports, motivation and movement, and social inclusion and sustainability in athletics.
The conference will be held at the Cultural Center Downtown Sandnes on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00.
The conference is open to coaches, athletes, students, entrepreneurs, health professionals, and anyone interested in wellness, innovation, and inclusion through sport.
Confirmed speakers include Yngvar Andersen, a well-known TV health personality and wellness expert. Names of elite athletes, innovators, psychologists, and performance coaches will be released soon.
Yes, conference attendance requires a separate paid or free ticket.
Sessions will be live and in-person, with select talks recorded for later viewing.
Talks will be in Norwegian and English, depending on the speaker. Translation support will be available.
The AfterRun Party is a social event with DJs, music stages, and a great vibe for adults and youth to dance, connect, and celebrate after the races.
