Drinking stations

There will be drink stations approximately every 5 kilometers. At the drink stations, sports drinks from Maxim energy drink and water will be distributed.‍

we ask runners and the public to use emergency number 113.

Medals and Prizes

All participants who complete a distance during Runfest will receive this year's participant medal after finishing.‍

Afterrun Pitstop

After finishing the race you can buy different kind of beverages and energy refills in the Afterrun Pitstop area.‍

Official Afterrun

Have you crossed the finish line at this year’s Runfest? Or have you cheered on someone who has?
Then you are warmly invited to Runfest’s official AfterRun on Saturday, October 3, featuring great drinks at the bar, delicious street food, a live concert, and a DJ spinning music late into the night.‍

Companion runner

We offer companion services in partnership with SATS. You are welcome to contact us at welcome@runfestnorway.com. We aim to make the companion service available to as many people as possible.

Parking

We recommend that everyone use public transport on race days.

Parking is available at Elveparken Nord, with the entrance from Havnegata. EasyPark can be used.

Havnegata will be partially closed between 11:00 and 19:00, but exiting will be possible at the following times:

Finish area & Runfest Pitstop

After the finish, enjoy a great vibe with music, various stands, energyfuel for all participants, alongside medal and prize presentations. Food and refreshments will also be available for purchase in the Runfest Pitstop bar and inside Thon Senter Sandnes in different bar and restaurants.

Official Afterrun

Have you crossed the finish line at this year’s Runfest? Or have you cheered on someone who has?

Then you and your friends are warmly invited to Runfest’s official AfterRun on Saturday, October 3 from 19:30 - 02:00, featuring great drinks at the bar, delicious street food, a live concert, and a DJ spinning music late into the night.

There are also plenty of restrooms located inside Thon Senter Sandnes, right by the bag drop area.

1500 meters – run in the footsteps of the world’s elite! 

Here, everyone can join – whether you’re a beginner,experienced, or just curious.

This distance is all about speed, courage, and the joy of running, just like for Jakob Ingebrigtsen and the other big stars. 

You’ll feel a sense of mastery when you push yourself a little extra, at your own pace. Spectators and fellow runners will cheer you on, no matter your shape or your goals. 

1500 meters is just as suitable for those who want to try something new as for those who want to chase a personal best. The joy of finishing is just as great for everyone.
